Conrad G. Grove, 31, of South Main Street, Chambersburg, Pa., passed away Monday, July 2, 2012.
Born April 9, 1981, in Camp Lejeune, N.C.; he was the son of Karen L. (Smallwood) Duff and Curtis L. Grove, both of Hagerstown, Md.
He was a graduate of Clear Spring High School, Class of 1999.
He was employed by theU.S. Census Bureauand Old Glory Contractors of York, Pa.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Adam Grove of Chambersburg; companion, Kristen Salamon of Chambersburg; sister, Kelley Horst and fiance, John Mason; his mother’s fiancé, Carl Foti; niece, Marisa Horst; nephew, Hunter Horst; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Irma Grove, Gale Grove, Glen Smallwood and Dorothy Sillery; and a cousin, Charity Smallwood.
There will be no viewing.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14, at 4 p.m. at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, Md., with Pastor Julie Brigham officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Conrad to a trust fund for his son, Adam, in care of Kristen Salamon, 81 Nottingham Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
