KONY filmmaker goes coo coo, ends up in psychiatric care

Just as fast as people started talking about "Kony 2012", people stopped talking about it. You know, the documentary about the heinous Ugandan Warlord that's gotten 80 million views in a week and a half?
One of the guys who made the viral video went a little wacky.

TMZ has footage of Jason Russell naked and pounding on the pavement in San Diego.
The self-proclaimed Christian family man was picked up by police, who say Russel was seen running drunk through the streets, screaming, vandalizing cars, and doing gross things to himself.
Now Invisible Children is doing damage control, only they're not doing a very good job of it. A rep says Russell was suffering from exhaustion and dehydration after all of the publicity.
Russell is now in psychiatric care.
