The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards nominees were announced in North Hollywood Thursday morning by "Mike & Molly" star Melissa McCarthy and "Fringe" star Joshua Jackson. McCarthy was stunned as Jackson read her name as a nominee in the best comedy actress category.

Joining "Mad Men" and "Boardwalk Empire" in them in the drama series category were, "The Good Wife," "Dexter" and first-time nominees "Game of Thrones" and "Friday Night Lights."
"The Big Bang Theory" and "Parks & Recreation" received first-time nominations in the comedy category along with "Modern Family," "30 Rock," "Glee" and "The Office," which received nominations for the second year in a row.
The Emmy Awards air Sept. 18 on Fox, with "Glee's" Jane Lynch as host.
