ORANGE, Calif. (KTLA) -- A 91-year-old woman crashed her car into a doughnut shop patio, injuring three men before she hit the gas again and smashed into a nearby wall, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The woman, who has not been identified, hit the accelerator pedal in her Cadillac Northstar while the car was in reverse and drove backward into the patio of DK's Donuts in the 3700 block of East Chapman Avenue, police said.

After crashing into the patio, the woman then shifted into drive and accelerated through a driveway and into an alley, where she crashed into a block wall bordering a home, the Times reported.

Paramedics took the three injured men to nearby hospitals for minor injuries. The woman was also taken to a hospital for a checkup but she was not injured.
