Two American hikers sentenced to prison for crossing into Iran

     Two American hikers have been sentenced to prison for illegally crossing the Iran border.

     Reuters is reporting those hikers have been found guilty of spying and sentenced to eight years each.

     U.S. citizens Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal (fa-tall) have been found guilty in connection with illegal entry into Iranian territory back in 2009

     They say they were hiking in the mountains of northern Iraq and, if they crossed the unmarked border into Iran, it was by mistake.  

      Another U.S. Hiker, Sarah Shourd, was released on bail in September of 2010 and is now in the U.S.
