  1. Former YMCA camp employee is sentenced for sexually exploiting children

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A former YMCA camp employee received a 20-year federal prison sentence without chance of parole for sexually exploiting children.    Matthew O’Dell, 29, of Springfield was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Brian Wimes on Wednesday.  O'Dell, who was formerly employed at the YMCA's Camp Wakonda in Lawrence County, will spend the rest of his life on supervised release following incarceration.
