Ralph Drewery Anthony, Jr, 64, died Thursday January 24, 2013 at the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Fort Meade, SD.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era from 1969 to 1972 where he received a National Defense Service Medal.
Survivors include a sister, Susan Edwards and a step-sister, Melanie Mize.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Martha (Boggan) Anthony, Sr.
Upon his request cremation has taken place and no local services are planned at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Black Hills Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Sturgis.
