The foundation donates brand new, highly customized manual and power wheelchairs to children and adults who have been denied by Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance companies, or those lacking insurance coverage. DEAF FAMILY LITERACY ACADEMY OF MIAMI-DADE AND BROWARD COUNTIES

The Deaf Family Literacy Academy serves deaf children ages birth-12 years and their families. The program includes home visits by a deaf mentor, language and reading instruction for deaf children, sign language instruction for parents, and Parent and Child Together activities.
