On Friday afternoon deputies got a report about a gator with it's head stuck in a Largo roadway storm drain just blocks from an elementary school, according to a news release from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

When a trapper from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) responded, deputies and citizen bystanders pulled the 8-foot gator out of the drainage opening, the release stated.

After looking over the gator for injuries, FWC transported it to an alligator farm near Dover, FL.
