  1. Wichita event scheduled to recognize Domestic Violence Awareness

    As part of the Final Friday Events in October, the Wichita/Sedgwick County Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalition will be hosting ART OVER VIOLENCE, a one-night only Art Exhibit to recognize October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.&nbsp;&nbsp;The event will be held at&nbsp;<em>The Shopkeeper&rsquo;s Gallery&nbsp;</em>(on the 2<sup>nd</sup>&nbsp;Floor of Hewitt&rsquo;s Antiques, 228 N. Market) on Friday, October 26<sup>th</sup>, from 5-9pm.&nbsp;&nbsp;The exhibit is for all ages and FREE to the public.&nbsp;&nbsp;Additionally, light snacks and drinks will be provided.&nbsp;&nbsp;Dedication and remarks will be offered at 6 PM.&nbsp;&nbsp;Honored guests will include:
