    GALENA, Mo. -- Stone County Juvenile Court Judge Alan Blankenship ruled Tuesday that two teenagers accused of murdering a couple from Michigan will be tried as adults.   Blankenship made his ruling after a hearing last week in which he heard details about the murders of Paul and Margaret Brooks on Jan. 31, as well about the lives and mentalities of the teenagers.

    Feb. 28, GALENA, Mo. -- A judge postponed a hearing scheduled for Monday on whether two teenagers will be tried as adults for the murders of a couple from Michigan.  Associate Circuit Court Judge Alan Blankenship said in an e-mail message on Thursday night that the hearing is rescheduled for April 17 after a request by the boys' defense attorneys.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A federal grand jury indicted three members of a family from Springfield for their roles in what investigators call a conspiracy to distribute synthetic drugs, commonly referred to as K2, including a product called Kryp2nite.  Investigators believe the Franklin family has hauled in around $6.7 million from the sales of those products in the past three years.
