    In the midst of our cookouts, or day at the lake, or whatever you do on this day off, let’s not forget its purpose.  Memorial Day is to honor the men and women who’ve died in the service of their country.  We owe them all a debt of gratitude and whether it’s just as simple as reminding your kids what the day is about, or going to ceremonies to commemorate it.  I hope all of us will take a moment to reflect on their sacrifices.
