    The Philadelphia Eagles announced on their official website Monday morning that <a id="PESPT00008932" class="taxInlineTagLink" title="Andy Reid" href="http://www.mcall.com/topic/sports/football/andy-reid-PESPT00008932.topic">Andy Reid</a> is no longer the head coach.&nbsp; Reid's dismissal comes a day after the Eagles concluded the 2012 season with a 4-12 record after their loss to the New York Giants on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.&nbsp; Reid's 140 victories are an Eagles' franchise record and rank 22nd on the all-time NFL coaching list... The Giants (9-7) saw their playoff chances come to an end minutes after Sunday's game, when the <a id="ORSPT000036" class="taxInlineTagLink" title="Chicago Bears" href="http://www.mcall.com/topic/sports/football/chicago-bears-ORSPT000036.topic">Chicago Bears</a> finished off a 26-24 victory over Detroit to secure the second and final <a id="EVSPR00003532" class="taxInlineTagLink" title="National Football Conference" href="http://www.mcall.com/topic/sports/football/national-football-conference-EVSPR00003532.topic">NFC</a> wild-card berth... Minutes after Reid's firing was announced, the Bears ended the nine-year tenure of head coach Lovie Smith. Other NFL coaches to get the axe include Buffalo's Chan Gailey, Cleveland's Pat Shurmur and Kansas City's Romeo Crennel...
