    The Hamilton Nationals traded defensive midfielder Dan Burns (Severna Park, Maryland) to the Chesapeake Bayhawks on Friday, the day Major League Lacrosse's 23-man rosters were released. The Bayhawks sent midfielder John Austin, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2013 supplemental draft and the No. 15 selection in the 2013 Collegiate Draft to Hamilton in return. Also, the Boston Cannons traded a fifth-round pick in the 2014 Collegiate Draft to the Bayhawks for midfielder Brent Adams.
