    WASHINGTON, D.C. -- More than 1.2 million African-Americans saw combat during World War 2.  Around the same number were drafted or enlisted for non-combat jobs to support the U.S. military around the globe during that war.  The latest Ozarks Honor Flight from Springfield, Mo., to Washington, D.C., on Tuesday included an African-American veteran from Springfield who recalled how they also fought a different war on the home front.
