ELGIN, Ill.—
Items owned by former Cook County Board President Todd Stroger and his late father, John, are going up for auction this weekend.Pictures, autographs and other memorabilia from the Strogers' political career are on display at Bunte Auction Services in Elgin.
The belongings were left in an unpaid self-storage unit on the South Side then bought by two people from Michigan.
The auction will be held Saturday and Sunday starting at 11:00 a.m.
