BILLY C. THOMAS
Billy C. Thomas, 80, of Winchester, husband of Thelma Fulks Thomas, passed away on Sunday, July 1, at his home.
A native of Morgan County, Mr. Thomas was born on May 9, 1932, to the late James T. and Elizabeth Barnes Thomas.
He was retired from the Blue Grass Army Depot, a former Clark County magistrate and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include his two daughters, Sharon McCord and Cathy Cobb (David) of Winchester; six grandsons, Jason Hall, Casey McCord, Kevin McCord, Chris Cobb, Jon Cobb and Ty Cobb; and three great-grandchildren, Alix McCord, Cayden Cobb and Ryder Cobb.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Hall.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 3, at Scobee Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Ron Montgomery and the Rev. Lee Cruse.
Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mr. Thomas’ grandsons, Tommy Fulks, Pete Thomas and David Cobb.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Rayburn, Henry Branham, Charles Richards, Clarence Crawford, Larry Thomas, Bruce Ringer and his friends from Hickman Street Grocery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice East.
