Mary Christine Fisher Bailey went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, after a long and hard-fought battle with Alzheimer's on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, in the Hospice Unit of the Mount Sterling St. Joseph Hospital.
Mary was born the daughter of Prater Fisher and Weeda Mae Puckett Fisher on June 5, 1935. She was 77 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Martin (Perk) Bailey, her mother and father, and all her brothers and sisters.

She leaves behind a daughter, Elvina “Venee” Bailey Williams; a son and daughter-in-law, William Ray and Donna Bailey; a granddaughter, Dawn Michelle Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
Mary retired from GTE Sylvania after 25 years of service. She and her husband also owned and operated Bailey Heating & Cooling for many years. She was a wonderful Christian lady filled with a love for people and a giving heart.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Scobee Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Ron Shaw, pastor of the Community Baptist Church in Somerset, at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Scobee Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be William S. Fisher, Tommy Fisher, Danny Fisher, Jr., Jim Baber, Daniel Bailey and Ron Harrison.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Bailey, Tammy Bailey, Gregory Dean Clem, Michael Williams, Bunt Gross and her special friends and co-workers from GTE Sylvania.
