CBS averaged a 5.5/10 for the night, topping NBC's 4.5/9 (the Peacock's numbers may change some because of live sports at the start of the evening). ABC, 2.0/4, was well of the pace but still edged FOX, 1.9/4, and The CW, 0.8/2.

NBC grabbed the top spot among adults 18-49 with a 2.2 rating. CBS, 1.7, took second, and FOX was third at 1.4. Neither ABC (0.9) nor The CW (0.5) broke the 1.0 barrier.

A repeat of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," 2.4/5, put ABC in third. Repeats of "The War at Home" and "King of the Hill" were fourth for FOX, beating a pair of "Reba" reruns on The CW.

CBS took the lead at 8 p.m. with "Cold Case," 4.9/10. "Dateline" drew a 4.6/9 for second. "The Simpsons," 2.6/5, and "The Loop," 1.8/3, moved FOX into third. ABC averaged 1.7/3 with "Fast Cars & Superstars" and "America's Funniest Home Videos." The CW went with a "Hidden Palms" rerun.
