Springfield, Mo. -- July 2009 proved to be one of the coolest on record for several locations across the Ozarks.

In Harrison, Arkansas the average monthly mean was 74.8º, which was well below the normal of 79.1º.  Rankings were not available for Northern Arkansas locations.
