The first significant rain of 2008 hit Harrison with a vengence today causing phenominal flooding. Places like Crooked Creek, the street in front of Edwards Grocery, and all low water slabs were completely transformed into rivers where there was little or no water before today. This could be worse, we are thankful for the levee built on Crooked Creek or this could be a substantially more sever situation as was seen in the big flood of 1961.

This picture was taken with my phone, so it's not that great, but this is Harrison school bus garage and the soccer fields behind it completely flooded. They were moving the busses away from the water.
