Those of us at Ozark Meda (KFLW FM, and the FLW Patriot) in St. Robert ventured out to explore the rising waters. What we didn't expect to find was a volume of water to that extent. After near record rainfalls the past two days, the banks of the Gasconade and Roubidoux swelled out of control and have not only shut roads/bridges down, but also crept into the boundaries of the city of Waynesville. The mighty rivers flooded homes and businesses alike, with no mercy given within its path. As people gathered along the bridges and roadways to look on, the levels continued to rise. While is is unsure how high the lebels will get, everyone will just have to watch fields and valleys of water filter out of the region - current by current.
