With rain continuing through this morning, Lake Taneycomo in Branson, MO is flooding. These shots were taken along lakeside homes and the Branson Landing on 4/10.
Table Rock Dam opened its floodgates at 9am, and flooding occurred in most of the low-lying areas along Lake Taneycomo.

You have to wonder if any of this would be happening if it weren't for man's arrogance in trying to control mother nature. I am hoping that every one survives this terrible weather tragedy.

This is nothing compared to how it use to flood on Lake Taneycomo, down at the end of Lakeshore Drive, where we use to live in the 1950's. Be glad you have Table Rock Dam.
