We live back up Shop Creek in newton county, Arkansas, and the flood renovated our road for us. It was beautiful and frightening , all in one breath. We love our remote home, but this definitely made it interesting!thankfully, church members came to help us fix it and then later , the county came to help out as well. the flood of 1982 was perhaps more water, but in all my years i have not seen one do as much damage as this march Flood has done to our rural county.
