Location: Lilley's Landing, Taneycomo Lake, Branson, MO

We noticed two docks, attached to each other, rushing down Taneycome lake. We were near Lilley's Landing on the North side (Branson, MO). This is just across from Point Lookout.

We called 911 who connected us to the Missouri Water Patrol, then rushed to another vantage point, which was on a bluff above a sharp bend. There, two boats apparently tried to use the momentum and flow of the flood waters to push the boat against the North bank (right side of picture).

The docks did snag for a while, but then cartwheeled along the bank. I could hear snaps and bangs as the smaller section continued to collapse.

We then drove to the south side of the lake, just above the Highway 65 bridge that crosses Taneycomo. We could see that they boats had succeeded in forcing the docks between an island and the North bank.
