Location: Table Rock Lake dam, Branson, Missouri

The high winds gusting to over forty miles per hour caused high waves and white caps on Table Rock Lake at Branson, Missouri. With heavy rains, the lake reached record pool levels. The Army Corps of Engineers has released massive flows of water from all lakes along the White River.

The white caps splashed over the control gates at Table Rock Lake dam.

The massive flow of water has caused many docks to break free. See separate story about large docks rushing down Lake Taneycomo toward the Highway 65 bridge at Branson and Hollister.

The videos of Table Rock Dam are especially meaningful to me since my Dad was one of the many local men who helped construct it back in the 50's. I wish he were alive today and could see how well it is working. The flooding would be worse without it.
