A powerful storm descended upon the Southern Missourians this evening, bringing destruction of personal property, loss of life and more precipitation to the already rain-weary Ozark Plateau. Straight-line winds, hail and three fatalities accompanied the Killer Storm. Over the past two years the Ozarks have been blasted with weather-related upevils that haven't been heard of in years according to people we talked to. Native-Missourians keep telling the same story, "Uh, we've NEVER seen weather like this since 1930-- something!" Keep in touch with the latest weather happenings at KY3 while the next round of strong storms blow through out town tonight.
