We adopted a dog Saturday 05/10 from DCAWS, and took him to the vet and he is ill with parvo and another fecal - born parasite!! Beware, they were very laid back about this when I called!!! All of the other puppies there will also have the virus!!

I adopted a dog from there, she had worms and fecal born parasite as well. I called to tell them and they were rude about it and said she had been treated the night before I adopted her, though it wasn't on her paper work. It takes 4 days to treat!
Did the puppy make it? It is soooo cute. I hope so.
we too adopted a puppy that has to be related to yours ! He was so cute but had many health issues as well. I wish they were more proactive about the health of the dogs up for adoption. we were very sad to have to give him back.... we still miss him
We adopted a puppy from there and it sounds like the same story. He had Parvo, which they did tell us, when I took him to the vet he also had whip worms which are very hard to get rid of and can infect your soil. They were very nonchalant about this
