As heavy rains blew through Springfield, Fasnight Creek started to rise. Within minutes the water rose 4-5ft and crossed Grant Street to a depth of 1-2ft at around 11:00 am. The water came within 2-3ft of washing into the swimming pool at Fasnight Park. With more rain on the way it may actually reach the pool.
