Greenwood takes Class 1 District Title

Location: Logan Rogersville High School, Missouri

Two Springfield high schools take the 1st and 2nd place titles at the class 1 girls tennis district championships. The tournament was held at Logan Rogersville's high school on Friday, the 10th of October, and Saturday, the 11th of October. MSU's Greenwood placed 1st in class 1 district championships, and Springfield's Catholic took 2nd place. Logan Rogersville placed 3rd, and Forsyth placed 4th.
Elle Prewitt, a freshman at Greenwood won the singles 1st place title. Courtney Jahn, a senior from Forsyth took 2nd, and Mariah Allai, a senior from Greenwood placed 3rd in singles.
Springfield Catholic's two doubles teams took 1st and 2nd in the doubles competition. Logan Rogersville placed 3rd, and Greenwood placed 4th.
State competiton will take place October 25th at Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
