We have gone to the Chickens and The Cows said " Boy am I glad" We added chickens at the Hairy Cow Farm a little while back and it is working out good so far. Started out with 12 chickens. Added 3 more. Lost one. Thinking about building a smaller coop by the original one to hold a few more hens and enlarging are original pen. Would like to left them out in the yard more often. They had a worm feast today with all the rain we have had. The cats and dog need to get use to them running free. We get a large brown egg from them, a few ex-large. Looking at adding some that lay different colored eggs.

This was the girls first field trip out today. Out getting worms and grass in the yard. We put up the cats and dog just to be safe. The cats like to eat birds.
