Neve gets more compliments on her beauty and blue eyes than you can imagine. Everyone who meets Neve, even delivery people, “oo & ah” over her and this includes men too! And you can tell they are not just being polite. It just fascinates us how many compliments this cat gets.
Neve is a local cat; she came from a farm near Marionville MO. We adopted Neve when Isabel, our foreign exchange daughter from Brazil, wanted a pet and she wanted a white kitten. Isabel had never been allowed a pet, due to her apartment dwelling and sister’s fear of cats. So we thought, why not? We went to our local vet, checked out the “FREE” kitten postings and headed out to search for kittens. The farm's owner brought out three kittens that were ready to leave their mom. Of course, we thought Isabel picked the ugliest of the three kittens. The owner had worked to clean the kittens up, so they were all scraggly and wet. The kitten Isabel wanted was as close to white as she was going to get from this farm. So, to make a long story short, Neve came home and has been the "cat's meow" to everyone who meets her. How did we get so lucky! When Isabel returned to Brazil, she left Neve in our care. Neve remains a pampered and treasured pet.
