Behr

She is 4 years old and comes from the Manx family. This cat has no tail (known as a "rumpy,") and is sprinkled grey and black with a hint of brown. She has long hair that forms a mane and breeches. We noticed that her hind quarters look very much like a bear when she is dining, thus the name "Bear." To give her a more important name and, perhaps, a bit more exotic, we changed the spelling to "Behr." To make matters a bit more complicated, she hops like a rabbit. This is because her back legs are longer than the front and she has a natural occurring mutation of the spine which causes, unfortunately, spinal problems. So she has a maimed right hip. But she never lets this effect her life for she is adorable and very playful. Behr seldoms meows but chirps like a bird when she is fetching her ball or is hungry. Her favorite game is Hide and Seek. Legend has it that the Manx came from a small Island that is located between England and Scotland called The Isle of Man. When we first met her as a kitten, she captured our hearts and is a wonderful family cat and bed warmer.
