Lightning strikes tree

Wednesday evening a huge bolt of lightning hit the tree in our backyard about four miles north of Harrison. Upon closer inspection during daylight we could see that there were two streaks of lightning side by side that went down the tree and lots of splintered tree pieces littering the yard. We live on a hill overlooking a beautiful valley with mountains in the background.
