This morning June 16, Sterett Creek Village just north of Warsaw about 5 miles, we all woke up to a lot of tree damage. A few house got roof damage.
The storm came around midnight, and it was straight winds and the rain was just as staight.
We took shelter in our basement and waited it out. One of the worst storms in about 4 years.
This tree is a block from us and was probably the worst damage in the village. As you can see it pulled the large tree out of the ground and landed on top of the house causing lots of damage.
There are other houses as well that got a tree crashed on their homes.
The whole village worked together gathering branches and hauling large trees and branches to a near by field.
