Black Bear Spotted in Stone County

I was driving north on hwy 13 near Reeds Spring and to my amazement this 300 plus pound Black Bear was standing on its hind legs just off the shoulder of the hwy. I stopped as well as 2 other vehicles who seen the same thing I did. I made a " U " turn to the other side of the road and jumped out with my camera phone to take this picture before it went back into the woods. Its not a very good picture as I was trying as fast as I could to catch the bear before it was gone. I called the authorities just to report the sighting and they were relaying the information to the Conservation Department.

that is a great picture, i was just saying to my friends who live in the city that "bears" are around in this neck of the woods
