Sophia's Trips to the Zoo

This story is about a little girl, our grand-daughter, Sophia Adelle that truly loves, breathes, imitates, and cherishes all animals. She has a Friend of the Zoo membership and tries to get all her family to take her as often as possible. She adopted a giraffe on Valentines Day, 2009. One of her favorite activities at the Dickerson Zoo is going to the petting zoo to have 'on hands' contact with the animals. She talks to them and makes them share the pellets she deligently feeds to each. I think she should win this 'My Zoo Safari' contest just because she loves animals so much! I am her grandmother (Nanny) and submitting 3 pictures. I would love for her to win and be able to go behind the scenes and learn more about the animals at the zoo. Thank you.
