Yesterday while riding with some friends to Springfield I was told that due to a planetary alignment that happens only every two hundred years that you could balance an egg on its end and stand a broom upright with out any tricks..

Well I thought that for a minite they were playing a trick on me, but their voices and attitudes said different..

So when I got home I tried it, and to my amazement it worked..

Not only did it work but still does, and it is Friday the 9th of Oct.
First I tried one egg then two and finally four.
I have moved and rebalanced all of them..

Then I tried the broom balancing act. Seems that you have to rotate the broom just right but there it stood.

Later I discovered the eggs had to be rotated to a speficfied position too, turned wrong they just fall over...

Then I got out some coins...

first a nikel, easy as it has square edges. Then a quarter, hard but not impossible. Then a dime, I thoght now way, but in a matter of sconds there it stood..

As of now all the items I balanced remain so.. I have photos and video as proof...

Now I don't know if the planet thing is true, 'cause I ain't no rocket scientist...but I do know that I have never balanced an egg before...

If you belive something is possible you try harder. I suspect that you could accomplish broom and coin balancing before the alignment. I would like to hear a noted scietist's opinion.

Younews is not for nikel quarter or broom balancing. I have heard this same story before and since I do know something about the earth, people do ask me and they are always wrong.

There is something called perplexed alignment, but it has nothing to do with wasting time to balance objects. Anybody who has nothing to do can balance a broom, coin, or even a bike, which is another popular thing to waste your time "balancing".

This is all a foolish excuse to waste time. I, on the other hand, have to get back to work. Thanks for reading. Oh, I forgot to tell you your miss spelled words, nickel, seconds, and scientist. Dwayne, Ph.D. in science and engineering.

This is really going to sound crazy, but i do obstetric ultrasounds, and ALL of the 10 babies i have scanned this week have been in the same positions (transverse, head to mom's right). I wonder if this is related?
