SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - In today’s Leigh’s Lost and Found, our featured lost dog was found with a distinctive collar on, so someone is obviously missing him.

Josh Doss from animal control say, “he had a leather studded collar that it looked like he’d been wearing for awhile. It was a little bit small on him so he’d grown into it quite a bit.”

Animal control believes the male dog is a Hound/Shepherd mix, but since he’s still only about four months old, it’s hard to know exactly what he’s going to grow into.

He does have a beautiful brindle coat and is sweet and good with people and other dogs.

He wandered up to someone in the 2900 block of west High last week but he didn’t have a tag or chip so they took him to the shelter.

If you recognize this dog, call animal control at 417-833-3592.
