SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Bass Pro Shops sponsored angler and owner of Webb’s Guide Service Mike Webb looks at what’s biting at area lakes for the week of June 8.

Bull Shoals Lake

The lake is 30 feet high and fishing has gotten tougher. The best bite is on a small swim-bait on channel swings. Fish are suspended twenty feet down. Try using a shad color bait.

Table Rock Lake

The lake is eight feet high and the lake temperature is in the low 70′s. On cloudy days try fishing a puke tube in twelve feet of water on flat points. On sunny days, try drop-shotting a small worm around twenty seven feet of water on flat points.

Stockton Lake

There is a top water bite early on main lake points around bushes using a Pop-R. As the sun gets higher use a shaky-head outside the bushes on the same points.

Lake of the Ozarks

The fish are still on the docks. The best bites are with small jigs in 4–10 feet of water around the walkways of the docks, or shaky-head on ledge rock banks in 10–12 feet of water.
