By trade I am a Teacher and Journalist, but by passion I am a story-teller, traveler, and lover of learning! I have been lucky enough to have two careers in my life and I truly enjoy both of them equally.
Back in 2014, I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and Spanish with a minor of English from La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where I grew up. This degree took me to take more than 20 students to travel throughout Spain, study Spanish at one of the top language schools in the country, Middlebury College in Vermont, and study in Malaga, Spain all on my own! I had the privilege of teaching high school Spanish and English for three years before going off onto my next adventure in life.
My next endeavor took me to Syracuse University in New York where I graduated with a Masters of Science degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism in 2018. With the help of the University, I have reported in Israel and on the boarders of Syria, Lebanon, and the Gaza Strip. I also had the opportunity to intern and work for a news station in Washington, D.C., before spending my last two years reporting as a Multimedia Journalist for KY3 News in Springfield, Mo.
It has been nothing short of an amazingly wild ride with these career choices, but I am excited to learn, grow and share them with you and your family here in the Ozarks!
