Prosecutor charges 3 teenagers in cemetery vandalism case in Lawrence County, Mo.

VERONA, Mo. -- The Lawrence County, Mo. Prosecutor charged three teenagers for vandalizing a country cemetery.

Curtis Board, 17, Matthew Levan, 17, and Holden Davenport, 17, all of Aurora, Mo. face first-degree property damage and first-degree trespassing. Police have arrested all three.

Tips led authorities to three suspects in the case. Investigators say the three damaged several headstones in the Lee Cemetery in Verona. The damage happened in early June. Mt. Hope Cemetery and Quality Memorials fixed nearly all the headstones for free.

The Lawrence County sheriff thanked the citizens who made the arrests possible.
