Ozarks Food Harvest will open food pantry to Federal Workers affected by shutdown

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A Springfield organization is offering assistance to federal workers without a paycheck.

The Ozarks Food Harvest will be giving federal employees affected by the shutdown food from their warehouse starting January 15. You must present a valid federal I.D. to receive food from the pantry. The times run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on January 15-17 and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the January 17 at the Ozarks Food Harvest warehouse at 2810.

Food bank representatives say if you would like to donate, they would prefer you donate money on their website as every dollar received turns into $10 worth of food. You can donate at ozarkfoodharvest.org
