6 firefighters injured in house explosion in Vienna, Mo.

VIENNA, Mo. -- Explosion at a home in Vienna, Mo. injured six firefighters Friday morning.

Firefighters responded to the home on Highway 28 West.

Investigators say the firefighters were battling the fire when the explosion rocked the house. The six volunteer firefighters suffered burns and cuts from flying debris. Emergency crews rushed them to a hospital.

Firefighters do not have a cause yet of what started the fire. Investigators asked the Missouri State Fire Marshal's Office for assistance.

The Maries County Sheriff's Office asks to keep the volunteer firefighters in your prayers.
