Alamo Drafthouse to offer free movie tickets to federal workers

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will offer free movie tickets to federal employees currently out of work and pay due to the partial government shutdown.

Beginning Monday, Jan. 14, all federal employees will be eligible for one free movie ticket per day with photo identification. The offer is good Mondays through Thursdays through the month of January, according to a news release.

The tickets will be honored for any new or current release matinee movies (before 6 p.m.), but cannot be used for special events such as advance screenings, movie parties and afternoon tea.

Family and friends of federal employees are not eligible for the offer.
