CATCH A CROOK: Help Greene County detectives find a dangerous fugitive
This week the Greene County sheriff wants your help identifying a woman who stole a truck from a Springfield salvage yard. On July 18, 2019 two women and two men walked into Buddy's Auto Mall at James River Freeway and Sunshine.
Sheriff Jim Arnott says the staff caught the group trying to steal some parts. Later that evening, Arnott says surveillance video shows one woman cutting a fence and stealing a 1994 silver Dodge Dakota pickup truck with an extended cab. Arnott said, "We did recover the truck, but we're looking to identify the female in this video." The surveillance video from Buddy's shows the woman in the gray tank top returned to the business on July 19, 2019 and stole the truck sometime between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. after breaking through a fence.
The Greene County sheriff also wants your help catching a dangerous fugitive who fought with deputies at Club Rodeo in Springfield. 25-year-old Scott Edward Eutsler is wanted on 3 different warrants including attempted assault, interfering with arrest, car theft and leaving the scene of an accident.
Sheriff Arnott says Eutsler was armed with a knife when he fought with detectives at the nightclub on Bennett near Kansas Expressway on March 22, 2018. During the scuffle, Arnott says Eutsler tried to grab a deputy's gun.
Scott Edward Eutsler has tattoos on his upper arms. One is a tattoo of the number 3.
