GREENE COUNTY, Mo.-- In this week's Catch A Crook we're profiling a cold murder case in Greene County. The sheriff wants your help with any information to find who killed a Springfield father.

27-year-old Jamie Richardson was last seen on March 10, 2012. Five days later, he was found dead in the James River at the Crighton River Access east of Springfield, Missouri.

"We are looking for anyone with information or has knowledge of this homicide. We have partnered with Hiland Dairy which has offered up to a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction in this case," said Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott.

Richardson has 2 children. "They need answers as to what happened to their father and we're trying to do that," said Arnott. He says detectives have received tips from out of state over the seven years of this murder investigation. "We've received information all the way from the east coast to the Springfield area."

Detectives are also looking for a Greene County fugitive charged with robbery and stealing. David McDonald has been on the run since 2016. Security video shows him inside a Springfield Walmart on March 9, 2011 where Arnott says McDonald stole items and then assaulted an employee who confronted him. He reportedly grabbed the worker by the throat.

In 2013, McDonald pleaded guilty to robbery and was sentenced to 5 years probation in 2014. After violating probation, the courts ordered a warrant for McDonald's arrest in 2016.
