City of Thayer, Mo. issues a curfew

THAYER, Mo. -- The city of Thayer, Mo. issued a curfew for the city amid the coronavirus crisis.

The curfew runs from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. The city asks for only those with essential work to be out and about. Violators could face a fine of $500 and up to 90 days in jail.

The state of Missouri reports no cases of the coronavirus in Oregon County.
