PICTURES: Boom lift accident injures construction worker in Stone County

A construction workers is in critical condition after falling from a boom lift in Stone County.

The crew is finishing up work on a condo complex at 175 Harbor Lane near Indian Point. The Southern Stone County Fire Department reports the boom lift gave way and one worker was thrown 30 - 40 feet.

Investigators believe the worker's head hit rocks and a tree. He later regained consciousness at a hospital in Springfield.

Another man inside the boom lift suffered minor injuries.
