Deputies investigate 2 dead outside home in Dallas County
The Dallas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a scene where deputies found two people dead.
They were located outside a home in Tunas, Missouri, near highways 73 and PP.
They are believed to be the owners of that home.
The sheriff says he believes that sometime Sunday morning-- the homeowners interrupted an attempted robbery at their own house, and says the homeowners engaged in a gun battle with the intruders and were killed.
No confirmation yet on the specific address-- or the names of the victims.
Authorities tell us they think a truck is missing from the home-- described as a silver 2006 Chevy pick-up with Missouri license plate 9YX415.
